As the director of the Ripley, West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau, I have the distinct pleasure of showcasing Ripley, our events, activities, and the surrounding areas around the globe. This, in turn, leads me to have the opportunity to meet visitors, new residents, and meeting planners looking for the right place to host their conference or meeting.

My family has called the hills and valleys around Ripley home for many generations. Ripley holds a special place in my heart; I've attended many of the 4th of July parades with cousins, aunts and uncles. My great-grandparents made Ripley their home right after they were married and members of my family have owned businesses in the area. When I pass my grandmothers old place I swear I can still smell and taste her hot rolls and pie. My cousin was even the mayor once upon a time!

I work directly with event and meeting planners to see if Ripley, WV is a good fit for their event. We know we're not a big city, but if you're looking for a place that offers outdoor adventure, great entertainment, fairs and festivals, and affordability, Ripley, West Virginia may be the perfect place for your meeting.

Additionally in this role, I bring significant expertise in marketing, social and traditional media, and public and government relation skills.

My husband, a pilot, is the director of the state aviation division, and our daughter resides in the Mid-West where she ensures children in her local school district receive wholesome, nutritious meals. She is also the school translator for Spanish speaking youth and their families.
