Ripley is well-known for its fairs and festivals, kayaking, fishing, camping, great hotels, restaurants, and small businesses featuring local artisans. Throughout the surrounding areas you'll find something for everyone to enjoy. 
 

Ripley is nationally known for hosting the "America's Largest Small Town Independence Day Celebration" and the Mountain State Art & Craft Fair. We're also home to the Alpine Theater where local and national talent appear each month, and the facility is a registered historic landmark.
